In these very strange days of social distancing and online teaching one seeks for ways to replicate the closeness of the classroom community. One way is by sharing personal stories and memories. BNS Forest and Shore School teacher, Bill Fulbrecht, offers this short video that may introduce some children to a different kind of environment than what we find here in Brooklyn, namely, the great southwest where he spent most of his childhood. The song by Cole Porter seems as poignant as ever.
